Volume Discounts

How automatic volume discounts work: the per-seat tiers, how they apply at checkout, and how they interact with coupon codes.

Written by Vladimir Kouznetsov, EA, CFP®

Overview

Volume Discounts reduce your per-seat price automatically when you buy multiple seats in a single Group Order. The more seats you purchase in one order, the lower the price of every seat in that order. This article explains the discount tiers, how the discount is applied, and what to know before you check out.

Discount Tiers

Discounts are based on the number of seats in a single order:

Seats per order

10–24

25–49

Key points:

  • The discount applies to every seat in the order, not just the seats above the tier minimum

  • Discounts apply to any Adviser CE course or bundle, including the 12-credit and 6-credit IAR CE bundles

  • Only the highest tier your order qualifies for is applied — the tiers do not add together

  • A single seat is charged at the regular price; discounts begin at 2 seats

How the Discount Is Applied

  • The discount is applied automatically at checkout — there is no code to enter and no need to contact us in advance

  • Enter the number of seats you need on the product's checkout page, and the discounted price updates before you pay

  • Your order receipt and invoice show the discounted total, so the price you see at checkout is the price you are charged

Example

For the Investment Advisory Representative 12-Credit CE Bundle (2026 Edition) at a regular price of $99.80 per seat:

The same percentages apply to every other course and bundle at their own list prices.

Volume Discounts and Coupon Codes

  • Volume Discounts and coupon codes do not stack

  • If you enter a coupon code at checkout, the coupon replaces the automatic volume discount

  • If you have a coupon code and are buying several seats, compare the two before you check out and use whichever gives the better price

Buying Additional Seats Later

Seat Managers can purchase more seats at any time from the Admin Dashboard. Discounts are calculated per order, based on the number of seats in that order — seats from earlier orders are not added together to reach a higher tier.

If you expect to enroll a certain number of learners over the year, purchasing the seats in one larger order will generally reach a better tier than several smaller orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to request a quote or contact sales to get a volume discount? No. The discount is built into checkout and applies automatically once you select 2 or more seats.

Can I mix different courses in one order to reach a tier? No. Tiers are based on the number of seats of a single product in one Group Order. Seats for different courses are separate orders and qualify for tiers independently.

Does the discount change what my learners see? No. Learners claim their seats through the sign-up link and complete a $0 checkout regardless of what you paid per seat. See Group Orders for the full learner experience.

Does the discount affect CE credits or reporting? No. Credits, course access, certificates, and FINRA reporting are identical whether a seat was purchased at list price or at a discount.
