Contacting Adviser CE Support

How to reach the Adviser CE support team, what to include in your message, and how quickly to expect a reply.

Written by Vladimir Kouznetsov, EA, CFP®

Overview

This article explains how to reach a person on the Adviser CE team, when to expect a reply, and what to include so we can resolve your issue on the first response.

How to Reach Us

Chat: use the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of any page on adviserce.com. Chat starts with our AI assistant, which can answer most common questions immediately and can look up your own orders, enrollments, and completions. If you would rather speak with a person, just say so — type "talk to the team" or "speak to a person" and your conversation will be passed to our support team. You do not have to keep rephrasing your question to get through.

Phone: We don't offer phone support. Everything is handled by email and chat, which lets us look up your account, your orders, and your reporting status while we answer — things we can't do over the phone. Both routes reach the same team.

Typical response time: Most messages get a reply within a few hours, and nearly always within one business day.

Giving us these up front usually saves a full round trip:

Course name, lesson title, your browser and device, and whether it also happens in a private window

Sign-in trouble

A group order

The order number and, if you are a learner, who at your firm placed it

Please do not send passwords. We will never ask for one.

Before You Write: Things You Can Do Yourself

These are the most common reasons people contact us, and each has a self-serve answer:

  • Credits not showing in FinPro — usually a name or CRD mismatch. See Fixing a Name or CRD Mismatch.

  • Course still in progress after passing the exam — usually a skipped Course Survey. See Completing Your Course.

  • Can't sign in, or your courses have vanished — usually the wrong email address or Google sign-in. See Signing In.

  • Certificates and invoices — both are self-serve under My Account.

What We Cannot Help With

  • FinPro account access. For anything to do with logging in to FinPro or your FINRA record itself, contact FINRA at https://www.finra.org/registration-exams-ce/finpro.

  • How many credits your firm or state requires beyond the NASAA 12. Check with your compliance team, or NASAA's state resources.

  • Completing coursework on your behalf. CE must be completed personally under your own login; sharing credentials can invalidate your credits.
