Payment Methods We Accept

Every way you can pay for a course or bundle, who processes the payment, and what we can and cannot take.

Written by Vladimir Kouznetsov, EA, CFP®

Overview

This article covers what you can pay with when you buy a course or bundle, who processes the payment, and what happens to your card details.

What You Can Pay With

All of these appear as options at checkout:

  • Credit or debit card

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Amazon Pay

  • Cash App Pay

  • Link — a saved-payment service that stores your details for faster checkout next time

You only need an account with whichever one you choose. Paying by card requires no account at all.

What We Cannot Accept

  • PayPal

  • Bank transfer, ACH, or direct debit

If you need to pay by a method not listed above, contact us before purchasing rather than after — we may be able to arrange something, but not retrospectively.

Who Processes Your Payment

All payments are processed by Stripe. Adviser CE never receives or stores your card details — they go directly to Stripe, whichever of the methods above you use. This is also why Link appears at checkout: it is Stripe's own saved-payment service.

Paying with Link

Link is optional and you never have to use it. If you have seen it at checkout and want to know what it is, whether you need an account, or how to remove saved details, see Paying with Link.

Buying for a Team

Volume discounts are applied automatically when you buy 2 or more seats in a single order — no code to enter. See Volume Discounts.

Invoicing is available for team orders on request. If your firm would rather be invoiced than pay by card at checkout, contact us before placing the order and we will arrange it. This applies to team purchases; individual course purchases are paid at checkout.

Receipts and Invoices

You receive an order receipt by email as soon as the payment goes through, and a downloadable invoice is available at any time from My Account → Invoices. See Downloading Your Invoice.

If a Payment Will Not Go Through

Declines are usually a billing-address mismatch, browser autofill inserting stale details, or the card issuer blocking the transaction. See Troubleshooting Payment Issues for Your Course Purchase.

Refunds

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase provided less than 10% of the course has been completed, plus a separate rule for duplicate purchases. See Refunds, Cancellations, and Purchasing the Wrong Course.
